The Flight Royal Series Fireball EQ-A Baritone Ukulele sounds just as spectacular as it looks. This baritone model features a solid mango wood soundboard supported by a solid mango wood back and sides: a construction that results in articulate tone backed up by plenty of rich and resonant sustain, and as an added bonus, gives this model its singular look - meaning that every example is genuinely unique. The body is outlined by dark maple binding for extra style points, while snug playing comfort is assured by details like the rounded comfort edges and a scalloped cutaway. Unique to this model is the set of bridge pins, which like a standard acoustic guitar, ensure stable tuning.

An Extra-Soundhole = Better Sound

This ukulele can be played unplugged or it can be hooked up to an acoustic amplifier or PA system for big, gig-worthy sound. The built-in active pickup can be tweaked via the tone and volume controls found tucked just inside the soundhole and, to support better on-stage monitoring and even improved acoustic sound, an extra soundhole with a complex grille-like design has been punched into the side of the upper bout, projecting the sound upwards while you play.
